On Friday we went to Zake Sushi and Japanese Grill for our friend Erin's birthday.  We met some new people, inlcuding some that are teachers who can help me get into Spring Branch School Distric,t and another guy named Matt that came in sporting his Ohio State gear!!  I was THRILLED!! 

On to the food.  John and I had two AMAZING dishes; 1. Tuna Tartare -  tuna served over a martini glass filled with spicy ponzu, avocado, and a wasabi aioli  2. Farenheit Roll - peppercorn tuna, jalapeno inside, topped with crab mix, spicy tuna and wasabi aioli.  We both were in AWE!!!!!

Next, came the cake.  It was a 24" X 18" cookie cake bearing the slogan "Girls Rule, Boys Drool" in celebration of the girls vs. boys scavenger hunt.  It was delicious!
