Today we got up early to get for rivalry weekend festivities.  John and I got all dressed up in our Ohio State gear (I thought he had a Lehigh shirt...opps), and we went to SRO, a sports bar.  Lehigh had a banquet room right next to the three sections Ohio State reserved.  The banquet room has glass walls so I could see the Lehigh game while watching Ohio State.  Ohio State won, but it was the Lehigh game that stole the day.  As I said before, while watching the end of the Ohio State game I was watching the Lehigh game through the glass and was yelling.....Lehigh scored a touchdown with 8:30 left in the 4th quarter, bringing the score to 21-14 Lehigh.  Then with 1:30 left Lafayette scores to tie the game 21-21 and take it into overtime.  By this time Ohio sealed the deal on their 6th straight victory over Michigan and I head into the banquet room to join the L v L crowd.  In overtime Lehigh scores first!!  Then we miss the extra point....dear lord....  Lafayette is up.... and they do us a HUGE favor....pass intercepted....LEHIGH WINS!!!  It was a great game!!!  Two wins, and two very happy people :)

We head straight to the car to meet Janet and Michael at Traders Village for the Chili Cook-Off.  It was a BUST!  We got there at 3PM, judging started at 4PM, and they stopped selling cups to sample chili!!!!  They gave no explanation except that they were not selling anymore cups.  Poor Michael almost went on a rampage.  There was one thing he was looking forward to, and that was some good Texas chili.  We feel for him, it was a crock.  Some coronas were had, then we went our seperate ways back home.  John and I were inspired, so we went to HEB and bought ingredients to make our own chili.  It is delicious!  John's the man!  I was less of "the man" and made queso in a crock pot :)
