Saturday afternoon, Brandi and I drove over to Chuck E Cheese's for Victoria's & Dominic's birthday party.  Here's Brandi, Dominic, Victoria, and the sweet Hannah Montana cake that Brandi made for Victoria:

Later, we attended an Ugly Sweater Margarita Mix-Off party where I was responsible for our entry in the Margarita Mix-Off.  I went with a very classic margarita recipe which I highly recommend:

John's Classic Margarita

Ingredients

• juice of 1 lime, freshly-squeezed
• 1 oz Fina Estampa blanco tequila (or similar)
• 1 oz Cointreau
• ice

Directions

1. put all ingredients in a shaker, shake vigorously, pour (with ice) into margarita glass, enjoy

Unfortunately, the judges did not agree and our margarita came in third out of four.  :-(  Here's a picture of Brandi and some ugly sweaters:
